If Sulley & Boo – Scare Buddies is banished with cards both faceup and facedown under it, can I play characters that were facedown?
Yes. When Sulley & Boo is banished, all cards under them go to the discard and become faceup. When the effect resolves, it checks if any of those cards are character cards, and since they’re all faceup in your discard now, the effect can play them.

If I use Combo Shift to play Sulley & Boo on top of a dry Sulley and a drying Boo, what happens? What if the Sulley they’re shifting onto is ready but the Boo is exerted?
